CourierBuddy came about because Paul got frustrated with miscommunication in the courier business. Failure to have clear communication between the shipper and the courier results in wasted time and lost income. Sometimes two couriers were sent by a dispatcher to the same location to pick up a package, sometimes the courier loses time trying to locate someone to take the delivery, only to learn they were right around the corner in a back building. Sometimes a courier shows up to pick up a package to discover it will not fit in their vehicle. Paul thought “there must be a better way” and started the dream of creating CourierBuddy.
